Blog Navigator is a WordPress plugin that is used to navigate through your blog. It is simple to install and comes free of charge. When you first upload your blog, there is a section that allows you to add your username and password. This will allow you to login to the site from within WordPress. Once logged into the site, you can then go to the navigation section of the page and click on the link on the top right hand corner of the page to enable the plugin to show a menu that will display your blog's title and options.
After clicking on the menu, you are able to change your blog's settings by clicking on the navigation menu again in the navigation section of the page. This enables the user to select various settings such as the theme you want to use, the navigation style, the default search box that is displayed after you type in a keyword and last but not least, you can choose a different default title for your blog. There are also buttons for setting up a new post or adding a new widget.
The default search box is not only limited to searches in the blog but can also be used to search within other websites such as Google and Yahoo. BlogNavigator has several settings that you can change which includes the title, URL, titles for different categories and search engine placements such as the number of search results shown, default title length and a number of others. It has also been designed to be compatible with all of the major blogging platforms. If you want to create a new blog that is not WordPress based, then this plugin is definitely worth a look.
